  1. OraSure receives $1.5M Ebola Test Order from CDC

    OraSure Technologies Inc., the Bethlehem-based company that earlier this year developed a test for Ebola, will sell $1.5 million of its new product to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The OraQuick Ebola Rapid Antigen Test uses the same technology OraSure deployed for creating its rapid HIV and HCV tests.   2. U.S. Department of Commerce Invests $1.7 Million to Expand TechVentures Incubator in Northeastern Pennsylvania

    The U.S. Economic Development Administration announced that it is awarding a $1.7 million grant to the Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania to expand capacity at the TechVentures incubator. This project will create 112 jobs, save 82 jobs, and generate more than $61 million in private investment.
