Henson manufactures and distributes athletic apparel for wrestling, soccer, basketball, volleyball and softball with plans to add other sports in the coming months. With this year’s funding, the company will work with the ESC to conduct a series of manufacturing simulations in order to determine methods to optimize production of its athletic apparel. This will address client demands for cost and cycle time reductions and thereby retain and grow the customized market niche. The company will also work with ETAC to improve the capacity and reliability of its sublimation process while reducing energy consumption.
