In December 1982, 30 years ago, then Governor Dick Thornburgh signed legislation establishing the Ben Franklin Partnership Fund. That foresight resulted in the creation and retention of thousands of well-paid, sustainable jobs for Pennsylvanians. Ben Franklin Technology Partners significantly contributes to the Commonwealth’s economy, helping to create hundreds of early-stage technology firms, and supporting established manufacturers through technology.
