Ben Franklin Announces Byron Reese as iXchange Keynoter

The Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania has announced that Byron Reese, author of Infinite Progress, will be the keynote presenter at the 2016 Ben Franklin iXchange. The iXchange will be held beginning at 5:00 pm (new earlier time) on the evening of Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at the Zoellner Arts Center, Lehigh University, Bethlehem.

The iXchange is a premier business networking opportunity in northeastern Pennsylvania. Last year, more than 500 technology entrepreneurs, business people, economic developers, venture capitalists, political leaders, educators, students, bankers, lawyers, and accountants from Ben Franklin’s 21-county service area attended.

An accomplished high-tech trailblazer, author, inventor, entrepreneur, and eternal optimist, Byron Reese leaves audiences and readers with an infectious sense of possibility and wonder. Reese employs his profound understanding of technical data to illuminate how the technology of today can solve some of our most daunting global challenges.

Reese’s presentation will address how to spot key technologies and identify the macro factors that will drive innovation. What sectors will be massively disrupted, and how can businesspeople best build their companies in a world where things change so rapidly? Reese will also discuss the power of technology to transform the world. Byron Reese’s speech will be pragmatic, actionable, inspiring, and humorous.

Reese started his first business as an undergraduate at Rice University. He later founded and sold two companies, one to Pitney Bowes and the other to Demand Media. He currently serves as CEO of Knowingly, a venture-backed start-up that he launched in 2014.

The iXchange will include two executive networking sessions, the keynote address by Byron Reese, and the presentation of Ben Franklin’s annual Innovation Awards. These awards recognize and salute outstanding individual and company accomplishment in business and technology.

Early registration to the Ben Franklin iXchange is $75 and is $95 after April 30. Hot hors d’oeuvres and dessert will be served; a cash bar will be available.
