Students and adults can learn more about career opportunities with Greater Reading manufacturing companies at Berks Manufacturing Day, presented by the Greater Reading Economic Partnership. The free event features tours of five regional manufacturing facilities: American Crane, Brentwood, Cambridge-Lee Industries, East Penn Manufacturing, and Remcon Plastics. In addition, there will be opportunities for guests to meet directly with company hiring staff, including participating Ben Franklin Technology Partners clients and alumni Alcon Research, AMETEK Reading Alloys, Carpenter Technology, Custom Processing Services, Giorgio Group, Reading Electric, and Reading Truck Body.
Berks Manufacturing Day will be held on Saturday, October 3, 8:00 AM – noon, beginning at Reading Area Community College’s Schmidt Training and Technology Center.
