Researchers, entrepreneurs, and technology startups interested in bringing innovative ideas to market are invited to attend From Lab to Launch, a seminar hosted by Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania on Miércoles, Septiembre 9, at Ben Franklin TechVentures in Bethlehem.
This event is designed for researchers, entrepreneurs, university innovators, technology startups, and organizations interested in pursuing federal R&D funding.
The seminar will introduce the federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs—the nation’s largest sources of non-dilutive research and development funding for small businesses—and provide practical guidance on how organizations can compete for funding to commercialize new technologies.
Our program will feature nationally-recognized SBIR/STTR consultant Jerry Hollister of BBC Entrepreneurial Training & Consulting, who will discuss funding opportunities, proposal development, and recent program updates. Participants will also hear from Kelly Wylam, Executive Director of Innovation Partnership (IPart), about Pennsylvania’s innovation support ecosystem and resources available to help companies pursue federal funding.
