The Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s (BFTP_NEPA) technology business incubator, Ben Franklin TechVentures®, is a two-time winner of the International Business Innovation Association’s Incubator of the Year Award. BFTP_NEPA will present a virtual tour of Ben Franklin TechVentures® on Tuesday, May 31 at 12:15 PM.
Ben Franklin TechVentures is located on Lehigh University’s campus in Bethlehem, PA, and currently houses 37 early-stage firms. The virtual tour is free-of-charge and open to the public. Guests must register in advance, and will receive a reminder and Zoom link the day before the tour.
Business incubators are an important component of the entrepreneurial and technology ecosystem in northeastern Pennsylvania. Establishing the Ben Franklin Business Incubator (now Ben Franklin TechVentures) in 1983, BFTP_NEPA was one of the pioneers of business incubation in the nation. Applying more than 38 years of experience in business incubation, BFTP_NEPA leads the 14-member Ben Franklin Business Incubator Network, which is among the largest such networks in the nation. It includes member incubators from throughout BFTP_NEPA’s 21-county service area.
BFTP_NEPA owns, manages, and is headquartered in Ben Franklin TechVentures, and also owns and manages the Bloomsburg Regional Technology Center.
