Innovation Partnership
The Innovation Partnership (IPart) is a statewide collective of economic development, business assistance, and higher education organizations, providing early-stage technology companies with free proposal writing assistance, training, and financial assistance.
The goal: help Pennsylvania-based clients secure federal funding opportunities to commercialize their innovations.
The Power of Partnership
Federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs have more than $4.5 billion in funding offered by 11 different agencies — but navigating the submission process can be overwhelming and costly for a small business.
IPart helps Pennsylvania-based small businesses get through the pre-proposal and proposal stage with expertise, microfunding, and support so they can land the critical funding they need to grow.
IPart Services Include
Proposal Support
Clients can request free written reviews of their proposal ideas before formally submitting them for SBIR/STTR funding. They can also receive financial aid to help prepare their proposals.
Training & Travel Awards
Clients may receive financial awards of up to $1,000 to cover expenses related to travel and training necessary for navigating the SBIR/STTR application processes.
Outreach Seminars
IPart offers informative workshops and seminars covering various aspects of the SBIR/STTR process, from basic overviews to specific requirements of different government agencies.
By offering assistance, training, and financial aid, IPart strives to level the playing field for small businesses seeking federal funding through programs like SBIR and STTR.
