PA needs to invest more in business innovation.

When I launched Saladax Biomedical Inc. in 2004, we planned to locate in New Jersey. But New Jersey didn’t offer us the support we needed, so we started in Ben Franklin’s business incubator in Bethlehem. Ben Franklin invested in us, introduced us to experts and advised us through many startup issues. We went on to earn 28 U.S. patents, raise more than $57 million in follow-on equity funding, and launch numerous products worldwide.
