Connecting to financial and business support beyond BFTP
Ben Franklin provides seed capital funding to early-stage technology companies, but our investment is usually not enough to bring client companies to profitability. Most early-stage clients need to obtain additional capital beyond our investments.
Ben Franklin’s thorough client vetting process is well-respected in the angel and venture community and we have comprehensive and long-standing relationships with these investors. As a result, our early-stage client companies often leverage our endorsement to earn additional interest from follow-on funders.
Ben Franklin partners with several angel investor networks throughout the region, including:
- Broad Street Angels
- Delaware Crossing
- Great Valley Pennsylvania Angel Network
- Lehigh Valley Angel Investors
- MAG Fund
- Pennsylvania Angel Network
- Pocono Mountains Angel Network
- Robin Hood Ventures
Ben Franklin staff and a network of consultants work closely with the regional venture capital community and private investors to link clients to targeted investors and guide the company through negotiations.
