Vizinex RFID has released its latest long-read RFID tag, the XLR. The Radio Frequency Identification Tag has an extra-long read range of more than 100 feet on metal surfaces and is designed for outdoor and industrial use such as construction, yard and cargo management and vehicle and container tracking. The tag was made to withstand vibration, weather elements, road salt, harsh cleaning chemicals and other environmental challenges for extended periods of time. The company said the tags, which are made in the U.S., are currently the smallest tags on the market with that range. Via Lehigh Valley Business.
