    The Lubrizol Corporation announced that it has acquired Bethlehem-based Particle Sciences, a global leader in complex formulations including drug eluting device product development as well as sterile and particulate drug products. Lubrizol has approximately 9,000 employees worldwide and 2014 revenues of $7 billion.   1. Micro Interventional Devices Receives $250K Follow-on Funding

    Micro Interventional Devices, Inc., which began in Ben Franklin TechVentures, Bethlehem, received a $250,000 follow-on investment from the Life Sciences Greenhouse of Central Pennsylvania. The company is developing a disruptive technology that enables some heart surgeries to be conducted through a puncture in the skin as opposed to through open surgery.
